South County Volleyball Club (SCVC) is a non-profit youth sports organization (1645869) specializing in the training of girl’s volleyball. We are based in Windsor-Essex County with players broadly spread throughout the area. We presently have 13 travel teams with 135 players ranging in age from 11 to 18 years old. We are dedicated to providing quality long-term athlete development to our players and we are very proud of the 68 varsity alumni who have continued their volleyball careers at the University and College level. We are members of the Ontario Volleyball Association, earning 30 medals this past season alone. We also compete in various tournaments across the United States, largely in Michigan and Ohio.

A large part of our success has come from years of commitment to developing athletes at the grass roots level. We offer a variety of youth development opportunities, beginning with our Volley Tots Program for those as young as 7 years old. These girls grow into fantastic young volleyball players, and more importantly, confident young women with strong leadership qualities. Many of our alumni stay involved with the game after finishing their careers, and some are even coaching our programs and travel teams to this day.

SCVC is fully responsible for all the financial obligations derived from running a non-profit volleyball organization. These responsibilities range from gym rentals, travel and tournament expenses, equipment purchases, uniform costs, and player registration fees. Our goal is to best support our athlete’s needs and keep our member fees at a reasonable cost. In order to do so however, we discount these fees by running a variety of youth development programs and by hosting local tournaments.

In addition to the methods above, we are continuously looking for community groups and local businesses to become sponsors for our club. We would appreciate any financial assistance that your organization could contribute as the entry fees and travel costs are significant. Your consideration of sponsorship is greatly appreciated.
