Elite Summer Camps

July 15-17
9 – 12 noon

Learn new skills with a setting camp that is designed for current/future High School/Club setters with the desire to play at the NEXT level. This camp will give you 9 hours of setting drills giving the athlete thousands of reps to help make them an ELITE setter for their upcoming season. this camp will be organized by SC Bandits VP/HP Director Jeff Miller.

****Groups will be broken down by skill level, not age****

July 15-17
12:30pm – 2pm

Bandits Summer school camp will feature 3 different topics in the 3 days.

Day 1 will focus on Attacking.

Day 2 on First Contact – serving and serve reception.

Day 3 will focus on Defense.

Athletes can train at a different skill/aspect each day, and build a technical foundation leading to future specialized Bandit Summer Camp sessions, or to simply become a better all-around volleyball player. This camp will be led by SC Bandits National team Head Coach – Alex Nedin.

Athletes will work on the technical elements as well as the reading skills required to become a better player at the libero position. This camp will give you 9 hours of specific training and thousands of reps to improve your skills for this upcoming season. This camp will be organized by SC Bandits HP Coordinator and University of Windsor Men’s Assistant Coach Jimmy El-Turk

Athletes will have the opportunity to focus on attacking from the outside hitter position. This camp will feature technical elements on arm swing, arm speed, approach quality and implementing strategies to sync these individual actions together to improve as an overall attacker. This camp will be organized by SC Bandits HP Coordinator and University of Windsor Men’s Assistant Coach Jimmy El-Turk

July 22-24
2pm – 3:30pm

Spend time over 3 days working on serve and serve receive. Every great team has excellent serving and serve receive. In this camp, we will focus on developing skills to imprvode our quality of serve and serve receive by emphasizing the technical elements of each skill to make big improvements over 3 sessions. This camp will be organized by SC Bandits HP Coordinator and University of Windsor Men’s Assistant Coach Jimmy El-Turk

Aug 12-14th

9am – 10:30am

Are you looking to sharpen your skills as tryouts are approaching? You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to spend time working on serving, serve receive, setting, and attacking! We will cover all of the skills and build on the foundation set by Coach Alex Nedin during his Bandits Summer School camps. This camp will be organized by SC Bandits HP Coordinator/University of Windsor Men’s Assistant Coach Jimmy El-Turk.

Aug 12-14th

10:30am – 12 noon

This camp is designed for players of all positions who are looking to improve their ability to defend. We will cover aspect of floor recovery, pursuit, defending hard
driven, tip/roll defense, and overall reading the game cues that will help take your technical and cue reading skills to the next level as tryouts approach. This camp
will be organized by SC Bandits HP Coordinator/University of Windsor Men’s Assistant Coach Jimmy El-Turk.

Aug 12-14th

12:30pm – 2:00pm

This camp is geared to athletes looking to improve their point scoring abilities as outside hitters. We will cover technical and tactical attacking in this camp, helping
you hitters add more tools to your tool kit to find more ways to score points. We will also work on swing blocking technique, eye sequencing and hand positioning
on block to help your team earn points on the other side of the net. This camp will be organized by SC Bandits HP Coordinator/University of Windsor Men’s Assistant
Coach Jimmy El-Turk and SC Bandits National team Head Coach Alex Nedin.

Aug 12-14th

2:00pm – 3:30pm

Looking to improve your first contact skills and become a stabilizing player for your team this year on serve and serve receive? If so, this is the camp for you! We will cover technical and tactical elements of serving so that you have different ways of keeping the passers off balance with your serve. We will also assist you to improve your technical and cue reading abilities as a passer, a skill that every coach wants their athletes to excel in. This camp will be organized by SC Bandits HP Coordinator/University of Windsor Men’s Assistant Coach Jimmy El-Turk and SC Bandits National team Head Coach Alex Nedin.

Aug 19-21

9am – 12 noon

This camp will focus on the 3 main skills required to be an elite libero: serve receive, defence, and high ball setting. This camp will be organized by SC Bandits VP/HP Director Jeff Miller and SC Bandits HP Coordinator/University of Windsor Men’s Assistant Coach Jimmy El-Turk.
