Our Club

South County thrives on training athletes from the entry level player to the elite athlete. We want them to be able to compete at the highest level possible, whether it is working to make their school volleyball team, winning a provincial championship, or aspiring to play in university or college.

BANDITS CLUB
MISSION&VISION

Our Mission

The Bandits first joined the OVA in 1999 and have grown from that first team to 14 teams and 140 athletes competing at this year’s OVA Championships. We are one the most competitive female clubs in the province, highly ranked at every age category. A large part of our success has come from years of commitment to developing athletes at the grass roots level.

Our mission is to develop and promote the sport of volleyball. We are committed to teaching and training young athletes and educating coaches to teach the game of volleyball. We want our athletes to improve, become self-reliant, and develop a passion for the game.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be the premier source for elite volleyball training in Windsor-Essex County, to compete as a top club in Ontario, and to facilitate the process for athletes to play at the next level.

We offer a variety of youth development opportunities, beginning with our Volley Tots Program for those as young as 7 years old. These girls grow into fantastic young volleyball players, and more importantly, confident young women with strong leadership qualities. Many of our alumni stay involved with the game after finishing their careers, and some are even coaching our programs and travel teams to this day.
