2nd Season with Bandits
Hi there, I’m Jimmy El-Turk.
I started my coaching journey in 2013 after completing my playing career with the Windsor Lancers. I have had the privelege of coaching many amazing young men and woman with SKY Volley, St. Clair College, University of WIndsor, Team Ontario, and Team Canada over the past 11 years.
My favourite coaching moment was spending 3 summers as an assistant coach with Team Canada’s youth and junior programs, traveling to Honduras for the NORCECA Championships and Egypt for the FIVB U18 World Championships.
I have had many amazing mentors during my coaching career. Their influence on me as a person is something I carry with me and I look forward to offering leadership and mentorship to the athletes that I encounter this upcoming season.
My wife Stephanie and I are proud parents to our son Benjamin and dog parents to a Shih Tzu named Quincy. I’m a pizza connoisseur and can always be found celebrating anything important with some Antonino’s pizza!
